Research

Welcome to the Laboratory of Socio-Technical Systems at the Department of Software Science of Tallinn University of Technology. We carry out interdisciplinary research work at the intersection of agent technologies, service-oriented architectures, information systems, social sciences, and psychology. In particular, we apply the methodology called agent-oriented modeling (AOM) to the modeling, simulation, and prototyping of complex (sociotechnical) systems, including systems for e-governance, smart cities and smart communities, and crisis management, as well as to the simulation of real-world social phenomena.

Physical location of the lab is in the room ICT-634 in the ICT building of Tallinn University of Technology at the address Akadeemia tee 15A, Tallinn.
